A Velvet Transformation

The end of a busy week – phew! I did manage however to finally get round to upstyling this navy velvet jacket. I’ve bought this jacket in Camden Market at the age of 14/15 on a school trip and I have worn it on and off for many years. It’s looking a bit tired however I couldn’t bear to part with it so I decided to replace the buttons and use some of the braid that I bought when I was in Birmingham earlier in the year. Really pleased with how it’s turned out; I think it will look great with a silver T, jeans and heels for an autumnal night out!

Have you got nice plans for the weekend? The weather is not supposed to be great up here so I have a girly weekend planned of shopping, food, socialising and relaxing in a spa. Heaven!

  1. I remember that jacket! And just to make you jealous I`m heading to Main St for brunch and shopping with Janice tomorrow despite already having been there today to buy that dress 🙂 and have lunch in Slickety Jim`s with the husband!
