Edinburgh Christmas 2013

XmasEdinburgh2013 (1)

At the weekend I decided to head through to Edinburgh for the day with some friends to soak up the Christmas spirit in the capital. Although the weather deteriorated as the day progressed it was a a fab day out filled with eating (crepes with Nutella were particularly tasty), drinking (Drambuie Hot Toddy…mmmm) and wandering. Whereas at one time the event was confined to Princes Street Gardens, this year they have turned it into quite a festival swallowing up the gardens and St.Andrews Square also. There’s lots of stalls and rides to wander through – it’s quite a sight! Here are some photos to get you in to the Christmas spirit!

It was also nice to take some time out from the everyday Christmas panic and relax for a couple of hours. And now it’s Christmas Eve! What are you up to today?
