In the McManus Galleries at the moment there is a superb exhibition of Roman artefacts that have been curated in conjunction with the British Museum, an indication of the positive impact that the iminent V&A project is having on the city! If you haven’t been yet, you really should. The highlight are definitely the samples of multi-coloured knitting that have amazingly survived over the centuries.
It runs till the 10th May so there’s still plenty of time to see it, particularly as the school holidays are looming. On that note, I can’t believe that Easter is here already! The clocks have gone back and the days are longer and it is heaven – I love daylight! Anyway, thank you for reading!
